Would like to have a dynamic score background color

The background color of the score just sits there uselessly. I can think of at least one reason to have it change automatically, and I'd love to have that feature. I use different modes - normal, input by note name, durational, etc. and I switch around among them. Sometimes I forget what mode I'm in, especially normal vs. an input mode. When I wrongly think I'm in normal mode I play around on my MIDI keyboard, then go back to the score and find a bunch of new notes have appeared that I never intended to write! I know I can tell by looking at toolbars and maybe elsewhere what mode I'm in, but I often don't notice. BUT I would definitely notice a background color of the entire score automatically changing with the mode. There might be other uses for a dynamic score background color as well, but that one reason is enough for me.
