Pedal markings
How can i remove the Ped. and line so that i can only see the little star thing without it losing the pedal when i playback the score thanks

To not show the line: select the marking and in the Syle section of the properties panel untick the box "Show line with rosette"
To not show the Ped: while the marking is selected, in the Text section of the properties panel delete the entry in "Begining text" and if you don't want the Ped marking to show when the pedal continues on a new system also delete the entry in "Text when continuing to a new system.
Unfortunately, it seems you can't use these settings as the style for the score (unlike the appearance settings of most other items). However, you can right click on one pedal marking and use Select Similar to select all the markings and change their appearance in one go.
