Two questions... How do I get an x for guitar notation, and why is this note(s) red in the notation...
I have it notated for two parts currently and for both standard notation and guitar tablature notation...

The red notes indicate that the note is outside the range of the instrument. You'll see that they appear on low Ds, two half-steps below the range of a normally-tuned guitar. If you want your guitar to be tuned differently (say, Drop D) for a given score, see https://handbook.musescore.org/idiomatic-notation/guitar/alternate-stri….
For the X notehead, select the note (you can use Ctrl+click to multi-select) and go to the Properties panel. Under Note, you'll find Notehead type. The second entry in the list is an X.

The red notes are actually both C. I guess the OP intended them to be E but accidentally put them on the wrong ledger line (easily done).
The red notes are only an indication for you that the note is outside the range of the instrument. You can leave it as it is without any interference if your instrument can play it.
If you print out the score, it will be black.
