Latest Upgrade won't open my files
I uploaded the latest software update for MuseScore and now none of my transcriptions will open. I've lost access to everything I've created on MuseScore. How do I fix this?

What version did you upgrade from? Please post one of the files that won't open. And what do you mean by "won't open"?

Every time the system says, "Update available" I do the update. I've never missed one. So I upgraded from whatever the last version was to the current version and now none of my files will open. Attached is a screen shot of the pop up I get when I try to open a score.

Sorry the image doesn't help. We need the mscz file.

Here is one of the files that will no longer open

Opens fine for me in 4.5.2, which appears to be the version it was last saved in.

"Here is one of the files that will no longer open"
And it seems that there is nothing wrong with the file - other users (including me) have opened your score without difficulty.
The problem is mentioned in your original error message:
What have you done to check the permissions on the folder where your score file is located? You are the only person who can fix the error on your own computer, by following the advice in the error message:
- "Please make sure that MuseScore Studio has permission to read this file"
How to change folder and file permissions:

OP's screenshot shows he's using MacOS.
Maybe this guide will be closer to solving his issue:

Is this "permissions" within my OS or within the MuseScore Application? in Finder, my permissions allow me to read and write within MuseScore, but the error message says MuseScore needs permission to read the file. I'm not finding any permissions within MuseScore. I didn't change any settings and I've never had this problem with a software update before. Why would it happen now?

"Is this "permissions" within my OS or within the MuseScore Application?"
Within your OS.
Try this: via Launchpad - System Preferences - Security & Privacy - Privacy - Files & Folders: do you see this? - image below.
Namely, under the MuseScore4 icon, the options : Download Folder, Documents Folder, Desktop Folder, are they checked?
(I've attached an image, sorry, my MacOS system is in French, but it may help you anyway)
