8va line doesn't extend to last note
I've tried extending the 8va line all the way to the last note, but it stops at the beginning of the bar instead of the end. For a temporary workaround, I added an extra 8va over the last bar to get it to play correctly. However, I don't want to send it to postprocessing like that.
Anyone got a fix?
As always, thanks for all your help! <3

To get the line to cover the final note click on the first note, SHIFT+Click on the last note, click on the 8va line in the palette.
But not being able to extend the line to cover the last note with SHIFT + RIght seems a bug to me. It seems to work ok with other lines - e.g. pedal, staff text.
I couldn't find an issue related to this in Github Please go there and create one via this link https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/new/choose

New learning curve for me. Glad to be part of the solution instead of the problem. Thank you! <3

I simply deleted the octave sign, selected the whole score, then reinstated the octave sign. The line covers all notes including the last one.

WOW! A simple solution to a programming problem. LOVE IT! Thank you so much FBX! You're the BEST!
Off to postprocessor now.
Thanks again! <3

@FBXOPWKDOIR2's suggestion is pretty much what I said here https://musescore.org/en/node/378783#comment-1293928
But SHIFT+Right should extend an 8va line to cover the final note though. Not doing so is the bug.

Thank you, Steve. I read it, but it didn't compute. Sorry. Frustrated and old age brain dead. However, at your suggestion, the entire problem was frustrating enough to get me to report it to GetHub. I made my first post there, and then you came in with an excellent demo for them to watch.
Thank you so much for introducing me to them! I am an detail fixer by nature. Glad to be part of the process!
Thanks again. You are AWESOME! <3
