20th Century Bracket type
Can we add this to the brackets options? It's the same as the normal bracket but without the "wings".
I run into it a lot with Durand scores.

Not exactly sure what you're talking about since you didn't indicate anything in your screenshot, but if you are looking for the square bracket, ...
... try looking in the Brackets palette.

It is sufficient to delete the parenthesis and replace it with a reverse final bar line.

That's very creative! But what I'm looking for has the same offset as the normal bracket. This solution replaces the first barline, which I want to stay the same as when you use the normal bracket.
Here's a jankier version of what I'm trying to achieve.
