Pizz not working on playback.

Can anyone advise why pizz. is not working on playback?

I wonder if this is a regression in MuseScore 4.5.2? Is that the version you are using?
Your score uses the MS Basic sounds, and sure enough the pizz. and arco elements from the Text palette do not work. And these Text elements certainly should work with MS Basic sounds.
If you open the Mixer to change the Sound to a matching MuseSound, then everything works:
- Sound > MuseSounds > Muse Strings > Violoncello (Solo)
- Sound > MuseSounds > Muse Strings > Viola (Solo)
Refer to m.87 onwards in the attached score.

Sorry, that was an incorrect assumption.

In v.4.4.4, pizz. and arco from the Text palette work for me ... and I've only got MS Basic sounds on this computer. I think they worked in 4.5.1, but I can't test because the computer I had 4.5.1 on died :-( and I haven't had a chance to upgrade to 4.5.2 on this computer.

Thanks very much for the explanation and for fixing this up. I really appreciate it! I'm using the almost latest version which is 4.5.1.2....see attachment. If I download the latest version, does this bug still occur?
