Notes repeating infinitely when writing with other soundfonts then MuseSounds

I have a problem where, when I write notes using soundfonts other than MuseSounds, the first note I write keeps repeating itself (In the picture I only wrote the first note). Additionally, I cannot exit note input mode and can only close the program or the open file. Even after reinstalling both MuseScore Studio and the Muse Sounds Manager the problem still occurs.
On top of that, in some cases, playback does not work properly either. It cuts of longer notes and repeats the last note or chord, when stopping the playback. Here too, the only solution is to close either the program or the opened file.
I have encountered both problems in versions 4.5.2 as well as 4.5.1. Everything was still working fine in version 4.0. Unfortunately, I cannot say exactly from which version the issue started.
It generally doesn't occur when writing with MuseSounds.
