Changing default staff text for playing techniques

I am looking for a way to change or at least batch update the staff text for the playing techniques used with Muse Sounds. In this instance, the options are "pizzicato" or "Ord. (default)." Selecting "pizzicato" shows "pizzicato" on the staff, but of course I'd like it to just display "pizz." Selecting "Ord. (default)" shows "ordinary" on the staff, but of course I'd like that to say "arco." I can change each one manually, but would like to know if there's a way to specify the default text (so I get pizz and arco from the get-go) or a way to batch update the text.
