Entering Note Glides

• Jan 31, 2023 - 16:11

Is there a way in MuseScore to glide from one note to another and enter the relevant notation (i.e. a line between the notes indicating the direction of the glide)? It's not a glissando. More like a guitar slide between frets on the same string.

Some of my students are creating a song and want to glide from one note to another (i.e. A down to middle C). I tried searching for "glide," "pitch bend," also in "lines," but nothing I could use came up. There was a section on tuning and microtonal notation, but it requires all the intermediary pitches to be entered, which would be confusing to students at this level.

Ideas? Thanks in advance.
