Project
1) Create any score with 4 voices and a piano. Long enough to require 53 measures.
2) Write or modify anything on the 54th measure.
Alternatively, open the attached file with MuseScore 4:
1) Open the Piano part tab.
2) At the end of the score, write or modify anything on the 54th measure, the part where the multi-measure rest begins.
In both cases, MuseScore 4 will crash.

Comments
The part is clearly corrupt, as seen when disabling multimeasure rests:

So, what is the solution? Disable multi-measure rest, or start a new file altogether?

1) Restart PC.
2) Edit using the conductor's copy. Do not open any parts.
3) Avoid using the clipboard function. Do not copy and paste. Notate manually.
