In Musescore 4, the note input feature only allows me to input notes via MIDI keyboard for a short period of time. When restarting Musescore 4, the issue is fixed for a short period allowing me to enter notes for about a minute before stopping again. When going back to Musescore 3, there was no issue there.

Things that happen before the feature stops working:
1. When entering single notes, the feature seems to last longer before stopping.

  1. When entering chords, some notes are not added as if the system isn't recognizing all of the keyed notes (By luck the chord may successfully be fully keyed in).

  2. When entering single notes & chords, it seems that the automatic step time feature doesn't step to the next beat resulting in a cluster of notes in one beat (This only occurs a few seconds before the input feature is about to stop working). I have to manually move to the next beat, but by this time the feature stops and there's no use.

  3. When using playback and then using the note input feature, the input feature stops working immediately.

I have updated to Musescore 4.0.1 but I'm still getting the same issue.
