It would need to use a 'repeat 2 measures' sign here, but that is not implemented in MuseScore 3 (and before). It is though in MuseScore 4.
But then and there the same issue would apply when using a "repeat 4 measure" sign, even if this issue here would get resolved

One way out would be to 'unroll' the repeat, i.e. write out the notes.
