Audio Not Working

My audio device is stuck on Sound Flower, which means I get no audio playback. If I change it to built in speakers or my interface, once I exit preferences it's back to Sound Flower. Reset audio seems to not make a difference.


I've noticed that sometimes changing the audio device does not enable the Apply button, thus MuseScore doesn't think it has changed.

Try changing to Jack first and then back to PortAudio and select your device before closing the dialog, so MuseScore thinks there was a change and can save it.
