Non-final barlines are not connected on MusicXML import
S3 - Major
some types of line are not connected.
Sample score needed. And steps to reproduce
Sorry, missed the xml file
Workaround: delete and reapply those double barlines (for the final barline a delete is sufficient)
Relates to #270643: [EPIC] MusicXML import/export issues
It is an export issue, not a import one. Or both, not sure
Steps to reproduce:
sample score. open, export to MusicXML, close, import from MusicXML
It's an import issue. The exported musicxml is correct. The issue is only with non-final barlines after #290694: [MusicXML Import] Final barlines no longer spanning staves on imported MusicXML files.
Bot #290694: [MusicXML Import] Final barlines no longer spanning staves on imported MusicXML files is fixed (in MuseScore 4). So this here too?
No, I checked the nightly and non-final barlines are still affected. The linked issue only solved final barlines.
Just checked, still applicable to master as of yesterday, commit 68dd530.
Fix for 3.6 available in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/8175. Contrary to the comment in the PR, the fix is not found in in the current 3.6.2_backend branch. It is in branch 3.6.2_backend_musicxml (current head at commit af08d40).
But that PR got merged into 3.6.2_backend.
vpereverzev merged 2 commits into musescore:3.6.2_backend from iveshenry18:ENG-42-final-barlines on 28 May 2021
Seems that had been renamed at some point?
Anway, it is also in my https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/9000
And in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/9581 for master too
When opening Barline_span_to_next_stave_on_MusicXML_import.musicxml (created in 3.1)
issue still occurs in 4.0 Alpha
