A dynamic changed to show above staff (to not clash with lyrics), and a fermata now show the fermata above the dynamic, see
I think it should be the oter way round.

FWIW, same if you leave the dynamic below but flip the fermata. Other articulations do insert themselves between the note and dynamic just fine.
So you do agree that this is wrong? Or is it just personal taste? What does Gould say?
Gould does not discuss this case specifically in the text, but does say to place the fermata "further from the stave than other other markings stacked o the notehead, except the octave sign". She shows examples of trills, slurs, and articulations all going between the note and the fermata. She also says dynamics should be "as close as possible to the notes to which they refer", mentioning some specific symbols that are allowed to intervene but fermata isn't one of them.
So I'd say the evidence is we are getting it "right" even if it looks odd to you or me. Worth further investigation, still.
