Hymns verses line spacing

I try to reduce the space between the lines in the text frame.
In the attached file I would like to have the second verse on the same page than the score.
I would also like the notes in the score centered.
I tried to find an answer in the forums - but must have overlooked it;

Looks like you have blank lines between each line. Just delete the blank lines (eg, put cursor on a blank line, hit Backspace) and everything should be good.

I don't know what you mean about centering the notes, though.
