Installed 0.9.4 yesterday, now won't start

I found MuseScore yesterday, and installed it.

I tried to open it today but it won't, and got the message 'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way' and has referred me to the application support team. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but no joy.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Try the latest prerelease instead. The crash at startup is usually related to the Program Start setting "continue last session" in the Preferences. However this is fixed in the prereleases for the next version of MuseScore.

If you still have trouble, open go to Start > Run and type mscore -F
This removes any MuseScore preference settings that might be causing a problem and restores "factory" settings.
